Check Your Graphics Card in Windows 11 Using Task Manager

In Windows 11, you can easily find information about your graphics card in Task Manager. You just need to open the Task Manager in Windows 11 and go to the Performance tab. Here's how to do it:

1. Use the Windows 11 keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Shift + Esc" to open Task Manager. Here, go to the "Performance" tab. If you're on the redesigned Task Manager, you'll find it in the hamburger menu on the left.

2. Now go to the GPU section to get detailed information. Here "GPU 0" means the integrated GPU and "GPU 1" means the external GPU. If I go to the "GPU 0" section, you will find the name of your integrated graphics card in the top right corner along with the GPU temperature and memory information.

3. When you go to "GPU 1", my external GPU card is displayed, and you can also find the GPU name here in the upper right corner. Right below you can find the "GPU Dedicated Memory" of the graphics card in Windows 11. Here is how you can check which graphics card you have in Windows 11 along with graphics memory.

1. Apart from the task manager, you can also check your graphics card details in Windows 11 on the settings page. Press "Windows + I" to open the "Settings" page and navigate to the "Display" section under "System" in the right pane.

2. Then click "Advanced Display".

3. After that, click "Display Adapter Properties for Display 1".

4. This will show information about the built-in graphics card, as well as information about the memory of your Windows 11 PC. If you are using a desktop computer with only an external graphics card, this information will be shown here.

1. Windows 11 also allows you to check GPU information using the built-in DirectX diagnostic tool. Just press "Windows + R" to open the "Run" window. Here, type dxdiag and press Enter.

2. The DirectX Diagnostic Tool will open. Now go to the Display tab and you will find detailed information about the integrated graphics card. You can find GPU name and memory information here. You'll only see dedicated GPU information here if you're using a desktop computer.

3. To check the external GPU card on Windows 11 laptops, go to the Rendering tab and you will find the name of the GPU here. "Display memory" is the actual graphics card memory of the GPU.
