The Facebook Like button has been around for almost a decade. It's a convenient way to show appreciation for your friends' posts and show interest in niche Facebook pages. However, the number of pages and posts you like can quickly add up, filling up your news feed.
Luckily, there is a way to remove all likes from your Facebook account. There is also a way to delete all Facebook messages without deleting your account , but that's another topic. This article discusses deleting all Facebook likes. The methods below work with liked photos, posts, pages, and anything else you like. You still can't exclude many pages and posts at once, so you'll need to be patient when you start filtering all your Facebook likes.
Delete All Facebook Likes Using Browser
Despite the popularity of the Facebook app for smartphones, many people still access Facebook on desktop computers. You can remove likes from Facebook using the browser of your choice. Since there is no official way to mass remove likes on Facebook, you have to reject likes from each other step by step. Above the list of Facebook Likes, there is an option named "Everyone", but it currently does nothing. More on this below. Follow the steps below to remove/delete all FB likes using your browser of choice.
- Log in to Facebook from any browser, then click on the triangle down icon in the top right corner of the page.
- Select Settings & Privacy.
- Select Activity Log.
- Go to the Activity Log section on the left and select Interactions.
- Select Likes & Reactions from the submenu on the left.
- The list in the left column will show all the likes and reactions in chronological order.
- To further sort "Like" by year and month, click "Date" in the "Filters" menu on the left.
- Select sort options in the pop-up window, then click Save Changes.
- Your filtered "Like" list will appear on the right.
- Click on the three dots to the right of each post you liked and then select Dislike.
If you notice in the penultimate image above, there is a "All" checkbox above the list, as well as checkboxes next to each "Like". Currently (March 19, 2022) these checkboxes do nothing to remove likes, including the Everyone field. As mentioned a few times, you can't delete all "likes" in bulk, but the sort option helps make the process faster.

There is another category of likes that you can change, known as Likes on Facebook Pages. You have "Facebook Pages" (not posts) that you like, such as "Pages" of musicians, movies, websites, or any other type of Facebook page, official or unofficial. You might want to update your likes in this location if they didn't show up in the above method.
- Launch Facebook and go to your profile page from the link on the left.
- Select "More" which is under your cover and name.
- Click "Like" to download the likes of your Facebook page.
- Hover your mouse over a page you like and click the blue Like button to dismiss it. The "Dislike" button immediately changes to a gray "Like" button, showing you really didn't like it. It will disappear from your page likes after you refresh your browser tab.
